The Sleepy Hollow Campground is camping area on the outskirts of the Slide Mountain Wilderness Area of the Catskill Mountains of New York. It is a paid campground located on Route 28 and offers hikers access to nearby trails as well as resupplies, restaurants and other amenities.

Camgpround Amenities and Rates

The campground itself has cabin rentals as well as tent sites. This is a well built-up campground and has amenities like bathrooms, a salt water pool, playgrounds, volleyball courts, etc. It has access to Sleepy Hollow Lake which allows for fishing, boating, and other water related activities. Camping here can be quite expensive, with sites starting over $40 per night without hookups, with a 2 night minimum.

Hiking Access

This campground is extremely close to the Tremper Mountain Trailhead, and is also a waypoint along the Long Path of New York. It is not very far from the Woodland Valley Campground which is a trailhead for many of the most popular hikes in the entire Catskill Park.
