The outdoors can be an intimidating thing with no basis of knowledge, and Hikerpedia.org will help fill that gap.

For Safety

Education on the risks of recreating outdoors will help reduce the number of injuries, bad experiences, and rescues needed in the outdoors. Prevention of this kind can lead to avoiding loss-of-life situations, as well as freeing up resources for the organizations that are tasked with protecting the safety of hikers in their respective areas.
