Mountain-Forecast.com is a popular weather website used by hikers and mountaineers to try and predict the weather at certain elevations.
Almost all weather apps and services will provide weather based on certain towns. When trying to account for temperatures, wind-conditions, and precipitation, hikers are left trying to calculate their best guess based on a nearby town when using those services. With Mountain-Forecast.com, those calculations are already done.
The user can enter a mountain that they plan to climb and it will submit predicted temperatures and weather conditions by day, and for the next few days it will give you an hour by hour break-down. It also shows a graph that will allow you to calculate the weather at lower elevations if you plan to camp somewhere nearby a mountain peak, but not necessarily on top of it.
