The McKinley Hollow Lean-To is a Lean-To Shelter on the Oliveara-Mapledale Trail in the Big Indian Wilderness of the Catskills in New York. It is sometimes spelt "McKenley Hollow". It is in close proximity to Balsam Mountain, a 3,500 foot peak and requirement to join the Catskill 3500 club. It is also close to Haynes Mountain. It is only a few tenths of a mile from the McKinley Hollow Road trailhead. The shelter is just off the trail and offers some but not many opportunities for pitching a tent nearby. There are some small streams that run close to the lean-to and should provide seasonal water to anyone staying there.
