Jennifer Pharr Davis is a long distance hiker, trail-runner, FKT setter, author, and hiking personality from North Carolina. She has completed hikes of the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, Colorado Trail, Long Trail, Tour Du Mont Blanc, and many more.
Appalachian Trail
Davis set the Fastest Known Time for the Appalachian Trail in 2011 at 46 days, 11 hours and 20 minutes, and held that record until 2015 when Scott Jurek beat the record. She has also served as a board member of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
Books
Davis has written both guide books and memoirs. Her guide books center around hiking in the North Carolina area while her memoirs about her hiking accomplishments.
