Cheryl Strayed is a hiker, author, and podcast host best known for the book Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail which documented her partial thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail in the 1990s. The book was later adapted for a film titled simply "Wild" starring Reese Witherspoon. Cheryl is a former heroin addict, with her memoir covering topics of addiction and loss, and how they were interwoven with her hike.
